Adidas Spezial Ss 23 Launch event
Adidas Spezial tells the story of British counter culture, rooted in acts of resistance, firmly planted in its community. The brand reflects the heritage of Mod culture and the influence its’ had on fashion and trends all over the world.
For this collection, the brand focused on the Mod’s influence overseas, having gained a reputation as a boundary pushing sub-culture. Inspired by the founder’s journey to Iceland in search of the Aurora Borealis. This collection reflects the adaptability and innovation that has come about through Mod culture.
For the launch event, we focused on creating an immersive experience for shoppers, to put them on the same journey to Iceland, surrounded by natural beauty & bathed in the light of the Aurora Borealis.
Using TouchDesigner, I created a series of generative objects that signified Iceland’s terrain as well as multiple iterations of the northern lights, coded in such a way that creates a constantly evolving range of hues and movement.
